Fly Fishing Southland, Fiordland and north to Fairlie,

The Maniototo is a timeless land of peace and tranquillity, its vast open spaces demanding a slow and measured pace from the traveller. The visitor soon forgets the city life, as they absorb the sprawling vistas and the sense of history evoked by the goldfields of long ago.

With its ice-cold winters and dry hot summers, the Maniototo is a challenging place in which to live. But, with its well-kept pastures and winding roads seemingly leading to nowhere, many people have made this valley their home.

Vastly experienced, Dean's knownledge of the fishery is unrivaled, let him help you by sharing a lifetime of experience, ensuring your success!

"Dean provides a relaxed guiding service in the South Island of NZ. I have been guided by him on an annual basis for at least 8 years now and intend to keep doing so until I pop my clogs.
He has an incredible ability to spot fish in the rivers and streams that we visit. His knowledge regarding fishing is vast and he shares it generously.

The after fishing socialising and post mortems are good fun too as well as being instructive. In short, being guided by Dean is a fantastic way to recharge one's batteries in the splendour of the rural and wilderness areas of New Zealand."
Nigel Harwood
